I took this today just before the wind blew the dark clouds over and it started pouring. This rainbow disappeared so fast..it was so bright through the window but by the time I got my camera and ran outside it was disappearing. The clouds were moving so fast w/ our high winds.
In other news..I received a blog award back in august from Maricris of Zen Ventures that I never passed on. It was right when my son had started getting really sick with his condition so I was a bit preoccupied w/ mommy duties. I want to post it again and pass it on as I was supposed to so long ago!
The rules of this award are:
1. The winner can put the logo on his/her blog. 2. Link the person you received your award from. 3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs. 4. Put links of those blogs on yours. 5. Leave a message on the blogs of the people you’ve nominated
And here are the people I have chosen to pass this award on to:

Giant Cloud and a Boat
Or - Cane Burning on Maui and the Maui Cruiseship
Driving down Haleakala into town a couple weekends ago we were greeted by this massive cloud. It was pretty amazing and even beautiful if only it wasn't generated by cane burning :\ We see clouds from cane burning all the time..but this one just seemed more massive and poofy and more white even. Maybe I was just closer to it, I don't know. These pictures make it seem smaller...don't really show how awesome looking it was..I guess its one of those "you had to be there"
Here you can see it generating from the ground..over near Paia where they must have been burning...
and this was the next mornings drive down the hill..we could see the cruiseline ship coming in from all the way up the hill...
