I purchased these sweet little flip flop pendants (we call them 'slippahs') a few years ago from a supplier who visits my island. (He lives on Oahu)I only used a few of them..and then sadly misplaced them. I got a couple more back from sister when she turned in her bead stash as she's not beading anymore right now and only doing her photography. So when I made a necklace out of one my Wholesale gal, Marina, saw it and went nuts over it. She's the one with the shop B-Side the Sea in Poole England where it's the beachy scene like here on Maui. She asked for more..but at the time I only had one more to make. Then low and behold I was looking for some beads to give to my step nieces in California and I found a package with 5 more! She wanted them all! So none for the shop right now...but I will try and get more from my supplier when he comes back at the end of the year.
Here is a pic of the little slippah necklaces that are on their way to the UK..

they are so adorable! Love it! You have the most wonderful creations. I wanna be like you when I grow up! ha ha!
But I"m not a grown up yet! lol!
oooo I know soem one who would love one of those where to get one? hummmmmm
Oh how sweet are they?!! So cute. No wonder your wholesale lady wanted as many as she could get. She has good taste!
(just saw your posting over on Athena. Wherever I post, there's Jamee backing me up! Thanks so much!)
They are totally cute--I scrolled down and saw a lot of your jewelry, and it's all beautiful!
Thanks for stopping by my blog--the lake we vacationed on was nice and all, but living on Maui? I'm more than a little jealous!

A-dor-a-ble!!!
Yes they are cute, how cool you found more! Are they all sterling silver too? I noticed one looks like it's inlaid with paua shell...
Something cute about a little flip flop. I have a flip flop magnet on my fridge and I know I spent sometime looking for a flip flop candle mold in my peak candle making years. Cute on a charm bracelet too, hmmmmm.
Thanks for the info on the Swarovski starfish. I wish they had them with the hole going through the bottom like a button, or through the center like a Margarita.
Klynch: I emailed my supplier to see if he still carries them. I don't remember seeing them though with his stuff when he comes here. Maybe he's got a hidden stash though. Will let you know!
Marjorie: I HAD to go see your write up in Athenas mag..it's so super cool!
Christy: Thank you so much! I"m glad you like my work. And as far as living on Maui..sure it's really nice and I'm probably totally spoiled by the weather..but the grass is always green on the other side. I imagine that even more so when trapped on an island and you don't get to visit the other side too often!
Tina: yes..sterling silver! And yes..paua (abalone) shell, and some mother of pearl and some pink oyster shell as well!
Elayne: would make cute bracelet charms! I can see with your style of beading how holes through the center would work good for you..I can never use that kind.
Oh my gosh! They are adorable!!!
